This lesson was created to teach A-Level students studying Post WW2 Britain. It could easily be adapted for other age groups.
References are made in the PowerPoint to textbook page numbers. The textbook is the Access to History: Britain 1951-2007, second edition. These references could be deleted in a matter of seconds though if you do not use this text book.
Have purchased to use with my A Level group & to see if I would like to buy the bundle - but I cannot actually see any page numbers as described in the blurb & also - it is unclear what to do with the first slide- what line graphs are you referring to here? Is there supposed to be an additional resource attached to enable students to complete this activity? Would like to use this resource as it looks good & appeals to the eye -love the debate & hierarchy activity too, my students will love these- but references to page numbers & the first activity would be great please!

Hi. Thank you for your feedback. The living line referred to in the bell work was created in the previous lesson (available on here individually or as part of the bundle) to map successes and failures for Thatcher's government - apologies that this was not clearer. The references I make to textbook pages generally are given in the setting of prep work for the next lesson. I'm sorry that this particular lesson doesn't contain any. This is my fault for using a generic "blurb" for my resources but this was done to save time. Again, apologies!
Thank you for your compliments regarding the aesthetics and tasks in lesson. I hope the above concerns don't put you off using the lesson and that you'll consider more of my resources in the future.
