A lesson introducing students to Ohm’s law and how to work out potential difference, current and resistance as part of the electricity topic of the AQA Physics GCSE. The lesson recaps knowledge from previous lessons before introducing Ohm’s law. It covers how to use V=IR to solve simple problems including ones that require the equation to be rearranged. It then provides a quick practical activity were students build and calculate the resistance of various circuits - basic electronics equipment required. It includes images and questions to help students understand the topic.

Includes a PowerPoint with integrated questions. Answers are included on the slides or in the presentation notes.
