D.T Plane Design Booklet
The booklet takes children through the research phase - planes comparison and labeling and discussing the functions of each part; design and design process and ends with an evaluation and reflection (opportunity to make links to prior learning and knowledge) section.
Aimed at Key stage 1 but could easily be adapted for Key stage 2 by adding a section about electrical systems.
This booklet has been based upon designing a plane to carry a polar bear back home - linked to the book Leaf - only brief mentions so can be taken out easily.

I purchased this as the preview images show some lovely planes made out of bottles and other materials. There is nothing in the booklet about this.
