Primary French Day with sport, cookery, art and Paris architecture, KS1 KS2

If you have been tasked to plan a French Day in school but don't know where to start then this is for you. There are 4 sessions which will last at least an hour each. The information pack tells you how to deliver each session. There's a petanque session (you will need at least 4 petanque sets but I've found these cheap at 'The Works' bookshop, a cookery session (madeleines and salade nicoise, madeleine trays available for just £2 on amazon), and art session all about Monet and Toulouse Lautrec, with a different art activity for classes from Reception to Y6 to do and a French session which will could be led by the teacher organising the day but doesn't have to be. There's an evaluation sheet for children to give you feedback at the end and a letter to parents that you can adapt as you see fit. There is a timetable for the day in the info. pack you would only need change the times to suit your school. I have spent about 3 days pulling these resources together and will be using them in three of the schools where I am employed permanently as a French teacher. This literally is all you will need.
