A free resource for Year 4 teachers to support the assessment of primary science. These Quick Quizzes can be used in the classroom or for homework tasks to provide an additional opportunity for children to demonstrate their understanding of the Year 4 science topics.
There are five Quick Quizzes for Year 4 that link to the curriculum areas:
Animals including humans
Electricity
Living things and their habitats
States of matter
Sound
These resources were previously available on the Leamington Spa Ogden Partnership TES account and were developed by a partnership of ten schools to support their teachers in making assessment decisions with the introduction of the new curriculum. The questions are based on past science SATS questions. We hope that they may be of use to other teachers in their assessment planning, after much feedback we have now included an answer sheet for extra teacher guidance.

These are great but it would be so much better if the questions didn't run over pages. For example in the states of matter test there is a table that is half on one page and half on another, questions often start on one page and finish on the next.
