This was a lesson I created when I was a cover supervisor working in a secondary Special Needs School. This is the fourth lesson, the others were on The Empires’ alliances, the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, and Britain joining the War. Now this lesson looks at some posters, focusing on how they make the pupil feel, and then later on the fate of some conscientious objectors. My class were SEN so this may need adapting to make it more challenging for other classes.
