This resources sits in the PSHE curriculum for year 9 plus. It focuses on when to get help for mental health and includes a deeper dive into anxiety, stress and depression. The lesson is based around the 2 videos. It includes agreed ground rules for discussion, links to the 2 key videos and a slide sign posting student to outside agencies for help and advice on mental mental health. It is suitable for all abilities and can be led by specialist and non-specialist teachers of PSHE.
The videos do include discussion about suicidal thoughts so may not be appropriate for younger students. Please watch them first and make your own professional judgment about their suitability for your students.
