These are 10 sheets, 1 for each of the following:
`Colons, commas, ellipsis, hyphens, semi-colon and exclamation marks.
Complex, compound and simple sentence, as well as, embedded clauses.
The idea is that you can print these out and stick them in students books when marking to make them aware of a punctuation or grammar error. They then complete the task on the sheet to prove that they are responding to feedback and progressing so that they can master this punctuation/grammar construct.
It can also be used as an extension exercise for able students to be given individual targets during lessons to push themselves. I would recommend using these as an intervention strategy with KS3 and with low-achieving KS4.
