The aim of these resources is to quickly assess whether students have mastered a maths skill. Questioning aims to ensure teachers know whether students have gained fluency, application, reasoning and problem-solving skills in specific mathematical disciplines.

I personally have used this assessment at the start of the academic to check in with Year 7 and 8 students but can be used at primary too.
