This resources contains a comprehensive introduction to radiation. Included is a keyword worksheet and differentiated powerpoint, with keywords, learning objectives, differentiated outcomes and a range of activities to allow your students to explore this topic. It uses language and models which allow students to access the fundamental concept of radiation. Included are learning objectives for grades (2-8). A model answer which scaffolds the correct language to use and allows student to learn how to structure there work when talking about energy radiation. The PPT is differentiated throughout with extension tasks for the more able learner. There is an assessment at the end in the style of the old QWC, as well, a task were students have to improve a modeled level 2 answer to a higher grade. This powerpoint can also be easily adapted for a KS3 class.
