This is a list of questions taken from the AQA specimen role plays and photocard, with their translation and model answers, one to match role-play specifications, one to match photocard specifications. They can be used as flashcards (cutting each row, and folding them into three) or turned into a game, where students challlenge each other to understand questions, answer them in the target language or come up with a question that matches the answer. All particpants in the game will benefit from playing, as it practices pronuncaition, understanding questions, listening comprehension, asking questions and makes students aware of the success criteria for answering questions in a role play and photocard situation. I have sugggested a trivial pursuit game but you could play as a simple dice game where the colour are matched to a number with a tally of correct answers.
