If you need a resource to connect religion to black history month, this is great as it introduces students to a religion with predominantly Black adherents.
This is a good way to switch it up and not just teach Black freedom fighters and civil rights activists as this makes BHM seems sombre - BHM should CELEBRATE black culture and history, not just highlight the struggles.
