An interactive resource for the teaching of lens ray-diagrams at both GCSE and A-level (designed for AQA specifications but will be useful for any general optics course).
Features include: large and easy-to-see fully interactive display (zoom-able to fit your screen), showing: object; lens (both convex and concave); up to 3 construction rays and the image (both real and virtual); changeable input values; calculated output values and full qualitative description of image displayed. There are also six preset ray-diagram configurations that can be instantly displayed.
All ray-diagram elements (individual construction rays and images), as well as all calculated values and descriptions, can be displayed/hidden via individual checkboxes allowing full interaction.
Diagrams/screens can be exported as JPEG for use in other applications.
