Not posted for a while but I have included similar sheets in my store in the past and they have proved very popular.
As a retired teacher, I now use these sheets myself as a tutor for Year 5, 6 and 7 but also for 11 plus preparation.
The extracts are all taken from popular fiction and the questions focus on different reading skills.

- Author’s choices.
- Inference and deduction.
- Summarising
- Prediction
They are excellent for discussion and can be used online when tutoring. I have not included answers but if you feel these would be useful, let me know.
