
THIS 5-WEEK PSHE UNIT teaches children about friendship, kindness and family relationships, helping them understand how to build positive connections with others. Designed for Years 1–2, it explores what makes a good friend, how to resolve friendship disputes, the importance of kindness, and the role of family in supporting wellbeing through practical activities, discussion and a child-friendly, interactive approach.
Pupils learn how to recognise the qualities of a good friend, how to deal with disagreements respectfully, and how their words and actions can impact others. Children are encouraged to develop empathy, practise kindness, and understand the importance of different family relationships and support networks.
