Renal Function Lessons

Here are a set of resources for use over a couple of lessons to cover the structure and function of renal nephrons, including ultrafiltration and selective reabsorption. There is also a practical activity that includes simulated urine testing that can be linked to diagnosing renal pathology. There are also case studies that can be used to test understanding of renal pathology diagnosis and makes for a great extension task, where students take the role of a medical professional giving advice to patients.
