It allows students to record the name, correct process for use, materials used on, health and safety and their own sketch of it (all of which may be tested in their exam)
Sections include: marking out tools, Hand tools cutting, Hand tools shaping / finishing, Power tools,
Students can then revise their knowledge using their complete booklet prior to their exam.
At the end of the booklet, there is also 3 generic 'making' questions, based on the 3 material areas, where students apply their knowledge of correct making processes.
