Resource pack of three bespoke 11+ Entrance Papers with mark schemes and guidance

Three 11+ English Entrance Examinations papers and Mark Scheme with model answers and guidance. An excellent resource pack to prepare any student!

I am the Assistant Director for English in a prestigious private school and I write our 11+ Entrance Examinations.

These are bespoke resources created from over 15 years of experience as a teacher and examiner. They are designed to help any student achieve by practising unseen 11+ Entrance Examination papers in preparation for their actual examination.

As the 11+ Entrance Examination is an unseen paper, these three different papers is an excellent opportunity for students to practise different unseen papers in timed conditions, or at their own pace to consolidate learning.

These resources are designed to:

• provide students opportunities to practise completing a traditional paper in timed conditions. Each paper includes a comprehension, creative writing task, and precis.
• provide students with examples of model answers alongside a break down as to how certain answers achieve specific marks.
• differentiate the different skills that are being assessed (e.g., information retrieval, inference and deduction, skimming and scanning, substitution etc).
• A separate mark scheme for the comprehension, creative writing, and precis with guidance and examples of the standard of answer required for specific marks.
