Key Issue 1 - Crown, Parliament, Plots and Court Life Revision Lesson for AQA Unit 2A: Restoration England, 1660-1685
1 x 1 hour lesson that summarises the whole of Key Issue 1 content.
Lesson can be adapted to a variety of uses, e.g.
- As a ‘lecture’ style recap/summary/revision lesson which the teacher reads to the class, pausing to ask students questions or for further information. Students could make notes on any topics they need extra information for on their own revision resources during the presentation.
- Include the concept diagram activity at the end (or as a whole extra lesson!) - students draw the diagram landscape on A4 or A3 paper, and then create as many links (need to include evidence!) as possible between the concepts.
- As a print out revision resource to give directly to students (particularly helpful for students with long absences or SEN students who need support creating their own revision resources).
- As a print out intervention resource for students.
I have used this revision resource successfully with my Year 10 and Year 11 classes ahead of both their mock exams and the GCSE exams. I have used it in lessons and after school revision sessions.
Be sure to check out my other revision resources on the other key issues for the Restoration course (KI2, KI3) and other units (1A Russia and 1B Conflict & Tension).
I hope you find these resources helpful! If so, please leave me a review and share my profile with other teachers, thank you :)
