A 70 minute lesson designed to allow students to understand what nationalism is. It allows for direct and explicit teaching of nationalism during the inter-war years for Germany. Lesson includes: a warm up activity; gradual release of responsibility through source analysis, a Brain break, and potential for group work or individual work and extend students. Additional teacher notes are at the bottom of the PPT.
