Two different models to inspire creative writing using The Robot and the Butterfly movie from Literacy Shed for Upper KS2. I’ve written two different plots where we see flashbacks into the robot’s back story. Curiously, the children prefer ‘Clara’, the robot with the darker, more questionable back story!
We use them in order to give the children the chance to see how they can create their own character and back story, as well as seeing the varying structures.
