Juliet’s character is understood to be increasingly isolated and having to act without the support of family or nurse. Foreshadowing, dramatic irony and tragic inevitability are features. The lesson closes with exam style questions (one AQA and one EDEXCEL with some suggestions for areas of focus in the answers (including context points).
