A ppt and activity looking at how food is used in festivals. I have used this lesson in 2 ways: 1. Students research, and complete the worksheet; 2. Have information packs around the room for each festival, and in pairs students rotate around the room.

Worksheet needs amending as Whitsun and Pentecost are the same thing.
Great focus on GCSE gradings throughout - clear and easily understood by pupils. I am going to try and do this in my lessons! The worksheet has a focus on key terms and soem festivals that would not necessarily be easuly recognised by pupils, for example, ascension.
