Salt Spring Watercolor Rainbow Mobile

Students will be able to recognize the order of the pattern of the rainbow by planning out and creating the rainbow using process art with watercolor paint and salt. They will learn and create the correct order of the rainbow color spectrum and the science of how rainbows are created in the sky with the sunlight and rain. They will also make rain drops, clouds and a sun to illustrate the factors needed to come together to create this phenomenon. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.
