This is a simple poetry reading comprehension aimed at Y6 children. The chilcren read Don’t Quit by Edgar A Guest and then answer VIPERS questions.
There are no answers provided. I would read the text (independently or as a shared read), and then have the children answer the questions. Finally, we would ‘mark’ this together to encourage discussion about why and answer might be correct or incorrect.
