This is Bingo with keywords from across the curriculum, aimed at KS3 (years 7, 8 and 9). I have used this activity with EAL Learners as start of a lesson, and it was a huge success! Students can keep the answer sheet for future reference.

Keywords are taken from the National Curriculum subjects such as English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Art & DT, R.E, Drama and P.E.

Playing Instructions:
Print out the first slide (2 bingo cards), cut in half, and give a sheet to each player. (e.g Print 5 copies of the first slide for 10 players)

With the keywords, write these down and put into a bag. Call the definition and the keyword out for each ticket that you pull out. The player to get four in a row is the first winner and the ultimate winner is the player with a full house.

Each player should have a copy of the 2nd slide that has the definitions and the keywords. The pupil ticks the keywords as they are read out by the caller to keep track. This is also a good reference for them to keep as they build up key vocabulary.
