In the absence of any guidance from the exam boards on what the criteria to achieve steps 9-1 will actually look like before the first cohort sit the exams in 2018 , I have had a go at putting something together for my department.
As we become more familiar with the specifications and assessment criteria I hope to be able to develop this further.
I have also created criteria for students who are yet to hit step 1 but would be demoralised to achieve a 0. In our school we have called these R, S and G steps (G being the lowest step). This could be adapted for your own individual schools.
