I teach in the upper school department in a SEND school - pupils aged 16- 18. A mix of learners from pre-entry to upper entry 2. Some questions/ tasks linked to the first 11 chapters of James and the Giant Peach.

Pre-entry use symbols and work in very small groups with high levels of support. This is the yellow group.
Entry 1 is the green group, small group with basic words expected.
Entry 2 is the blue group, full sentences expected and much more independent work,
