This is a set of task cards for helping students understand three types of sentences: simple, compound, and complex. The cards are multiple-choice and focus on identifying types of sentences. Students will need to be familiar with independent and dependent clauses, and conjunctions before working with these cards.
Yon do this activity at desks , cooperatively or as a class with the cards spread around the room.
