The “Sentence Writing with Tigers” resource for KS1 features seven pictures of tigers, both in colour and black and white, each showing a tiger engaged in an activity they enjoy, such as playing football, baseball, karate, or swimming.
Beneath each picture are words that need to be rearranged to form sentences, like “My name is Sam and I am a tiger. I like to play darts.”
The last page includes a blank template for children to draw their own tiger and write words in the boxes, which they can then rearrange to create their own sentences.
The sheets can be used in guided reading activities and support grammar and punctuation work.
This literacy resource helps young children practice sentence construction and boosts their creativity.
