This resource allows students to work through an AQA exam style extract on settings. There is a walk through on how to answer part A of the exam on the extract and then a group task and research sheet in which students identify the significance of settings in the wider novel.
All extracts are included in the PPT and can be printed onto A4/ A3 for use as a carousel task in glass where students gather evidence and discuss the significance of settings across all staves of the novella.
There is enough here to last at least two lessons, maybe more.
