Objective: To understand shape by investigating the facial features on a human and recreating them using sugar paper card and glue.
- Students will be able to create simple facial features using coloured card and recognize simple shapes.
- Students will be able to describe the shapes in the art work displayed, and apply their knowledge to their work, create a face using coloured card highlighting all the key facial features features.
- Students will be able to describe the shape artwork displayed using key words, make decisions about how you use shape effectively when creating your shaped face. Create a realistic face thinking about proportion and backgrounds
