A good worksheet as the students approach A2 which guides them through the derivation, tests them on rearranging equations, and practises inputting data into equations. When a mass on a pendulum oscillates with simple harmonic motion, T = 2(pi) (sqrt l/g) - the time period is proportional to the root of the length of the pendulum and indirectly proportional to the root of the acceleration due to gravity.
