These short answer tests are designed to test a student’s knowledge of the wording and content of the specification for different units.
They should therefore help students understand the possible wording of the questions on the exam paper.
They will also highlight any areas they should focus on for revision.
The mark schemes allow for quick peer marking.
I use them at the beginning of a revision session on a particular unit so students know where to focus their revision.
