A simple dominoes set for simplifying expressions. The expressions are quite simple and involve a few negative numbers. Adding and subtracting only but can be adapted. Please take a look at my blog: http://mathsmakesmesmile.wordpress.com/ Thanks

This is a nice activity for my low ability class to check their ability to simplify expressions. The cards are in order on the sheet, so it requires cutting in advance, but otherwise a good activity.

A nice domino cart sort activity on simplifying expressions. I would use this either as a starter or plenary activity of a lesson. The cards would have to be cut out by the teacher first before given to pupils, as the dominoes appear in order on the document.
