An example character profile text based on information from chapters 1 to 10 of the award-winning novel Skellig by David Almond, with feature find sheet, differentiated planning and writing templates, and word bank.

The model character profile based on the children’s novel describes Michael, the story’s protagonist.

Read the exemplar character profile text and then use the feature find worksheet as a WAGOLL to examine before pupils plan and write their own about Skellig, Michael or another character such as Mina, or Michael’s mum or dad.
