Skim and Speed Reading Practice: Breaking Barriers

This resource contains 9 texts that teach pupils how to approach texts when reading for gist. Each activity contains a short text with an activity / discussion activity. These activities will only need about 10-15 minutes of lesson time each so are ideal to fit in during a busy timetable or an intervention group.
