A year 8 lesson on the topic of Sound. Can be used as a stand alone literacy lesson after delivery of sound content. Suitable for middle to lower ability students. Can add a starter on the structure of the ear. Either one of the articles can be used depending on ability.

Brilliant lesson for my year 8 lower ability class, used the more basic article they were really intrigued and used as an end of topic lesson. The sound test worked so well - try with an additional adult with a significant age difference to you to see the difference in hearing ranges!
