In a recent "Golden Time" session, I gave my current Y6s this fun s.p.a.g. task to do. I never heard a sound for a good 30 minutes and they proudly showed me their results. They were so used to the boring grammar exercises, ( so necessary for the weaker ones to get to know all the spag terminology!) in the Literacy Hour that these were a welcome change!

something quite different for the year 6's to complete, could be adapted if necessary...something though that my students really enjoyed.
