This resource helps support your child to extend their current social communication skills as well as providing ideas of activities and supports to implement.,

This program includes the following communication goals and associated recommendations/activities.

1 – understand what communication skills are and why it is important to have goo communication
2 - To start a conversation with unfamiliar and familiar people.
3 - take turns asking people questions during a conversation
4 – recognise breakdown in conversation and have strategies to fix breakdowns when they occur
5 – staying on topic in conversations
6 – have strategies to end a conversation appropriately

This resource is great for individuals who require additional support around social skill development (i.e.: students with autism, intellectual disability, special needs)
