KS3 Chemistry Lesson on States of Matter
Slides are fully animated, with constant AfL, differentiation, scaffolding of learning and review of objectives. In addition to this I have incorporated an element of Active Learning inspired by Ross McGill who had attended my school for a CPD Inset Day which I am now starting to incorporate into each of the lessons that I will upload in future.
LO1: State the three different states of matter and the main processes associated with state changes (Level 3)
LO2: Describe the different properties, arrangement and movement of particles in the three different states of matter (Level 4)
LO3: Explain and be able to use information to predict and classify the state of a substance (Level 5)
(All worksheets are included)
Slides also include keywords on each slide and Stretch & Challenge for each activity. Interleaving Questions included at the start of each lesson.
