States of Matter: Reading & Sort Activities Bundle for Science Students

States of Matter: Reading Centers Bundle contains eight, 3-stage reading comprehension activities.

Every reading follows the same process:

In the first stage, students match the ten vocabulary words with their correct definitions.
In the second stage, students read the text, either alone, with a partner or as part of a small reading group.
In the third stage, students answer the 6 multiple-choice questions designed to assess their comprehension of the text.

This bundle contains:
8 informational texts on the theme of states of matter (Properties of Matter, Solids, Liquids, Gases, Heat Transfer, Conduction and Convection, Insulation, Condensation and Evaporation)
10 vocabulary words and definitions for each reading
6 multiple-choice comprehension questions for each reading
Answer sheet for each reading
Answer strips for students to write their answers on (optional) for each reading

In order to use this resource multiple times, it is recommended that the text, the assorted vocabulary matches and comprehension question and answer sheets are laminated for durability.
