Statistics - AQA Entry Level 2

This resource has been designed for students working towards the AQA Entry Level Certificate in Maths who are working at Entry Level 2. It contains an age-appropriate, 29-page workbook and a 130-slide PowerPoint lesson on statistics.

These resources will help pupils to achieve these outcomes:

sort and classify objects using more than one criterion
collect information by survey
record results in lists, tally charts and tables
construct and interpret pictograms where one picture represents one item
interpret simple tables, diagrams, lists and graphs

PowerPoint Lesson

The editable PowerPoint lesson provides many opportunities for pupils to acquire and practise the above skills. It also contains links to a number of short videos on sorting and classifying data, tally charts, tables, bar graphs and example exam questions. It is ideal for introducing students to the statistics component of the specification and for revision purposes.
