I will do this on A5 polystyrene blocks for primary but older children could use lino blocks. Children can sketch from a real still life composition set up on the table. They can also use examples provided or their imagination. A wallpaper style with a 'floating' composition and the same fruit across the page could encouraged for lower ability children. Children can do repeating prints to see the ink fade, use several colours on the same block or just different colours for each print.
