A set of three example instructions linked to the children’s picture book Stone Age Boy by Satoshi Kitamura.
The three exemplar instructions are linked to the illustrations found in the book Stone Age Boy:
• How to make a Stone Age fire
• How to make Stone Age clothing
• How to make Stone Age soup (recipe)
These instructions can be used as WAGOLLs before pupils embark on writing their own instructions based on the illustrations found in the book, particularly on pages 16 and 17, or on their learning of the Stone Age in History or Topic lessons. Instruction and recipe templates have been provided for pupils to use during this writing task.
All resources come as easily editable Word documents and in pdf format.
