These are a set of 3 revision tables to help GCSE English Language students understand and identify: structural devices in texts and to think about why the author may have used them; basic language techniques and a more detailed revision table for word classes (with some advanced terminology for higher achieving students). All made with the help of my dog ‘Edgar’ , who is well known to my own students, and provided the inspiration for the examples!
