Students write out their goals and aspirations which they see themselves achieving in 5 years time.
They need to list key skills they will need (trigonometry for construction, being able to deal with money for a cashier job) and things which will help them along the way (i.e. concentrating in class, completing all homework).
This is a nice activity for tutor time and I have used it with Y9, Y10 and Y11.
