Selected geometry terminologies with visual appeal are presented and pupils are expected to give reasons or measure the angles to confirm some statements made about the angles. The expectation is:

  1. To understand what is meant by supplementary and complementary angles
  2. To appreciate and prove the theorem that the exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the interior angles. Of course the proof of this theorem requires a prior knowledge of the sum of the angles of a triangles is 180 degrees, which is proved elsewhere.
