Oyez, Oyez, Let’s Learn about the Supreme Court! The Supreme Court begins its new session the first Monday of October. Used to call the Supreme Court to order, the word OYEZ means “Hear Ye”. The word originates from the Latin word which means “to hear” The Supreme Court hears a number of cases each year in which questions to the Constitution are raised. Use this web quest to learn about the highest court of our land…the Supreme Court! While the questions were okay for the most part, seven (7) of the ten (10) links did not work and I had to go in and replace them. This was very disappointing and even you only pay $3.90, you do expect basic links to work. It says it was updated July 14, 2020 which made me believe the links have recently been checked. I was wrong. #2, #4, #5, #7, #8, #10 & #11 did not work. Was very disappointed.
