T Level Transition Programme National Technical Outcomes (Engineering and Manufacturing)

This document sets out national technical outcomes for the T Level Transition Programme, relevant to a specific T Level route. It should be read in conjunction with the supplementary information at the end of this document as well as the T Level Transition Programme Framework for Delivery.
The T Level Transition Programme should give students a broad introduction to their chosen T Level route through industry-relevant technical knowledge and practical skills, as a stepping-stone to what they will cover on a T Level in their chosen route. As the Transition Programme is not about gaining occupational competence, DfE do not expect that the technical component will be the biggest component in terms of hours.
To provide a minimum level of consistency for students, DfE expect the programme to cover all the national technical outcomes for the T Level Transition Programme, relevant to their chosen T Level route. These include a small number of outcomes, each with underpinning knowledge, skills and behaviours, that they expect students to be able to demonstrate by the end of the programme.
